We are in the midst of such moments, in the gap between the fading and the coming.

The ore formed in the earth's veins has its own genesis, and I take it as a symbol of the strata. The interruptions and undulations correspond to the deformation of the landforms and plate extrusion. In the process of accumulating layers of sand and stone, the patterns of space and time are fleeting at every moment, just like the earth that stretches deep far below our feet, condensing the world that has faded away.

By making sandboxes like childhood play, we exist in a world built by real illusions. The primitive and strange things formed by the unconscious may reveal the as-yet-unknown life and environment extended by some fading and upcoming time and space.

“Everything to come was already in images: to find their soul, the ancients went into the desert. ” (Jung 2009)

(Jung 2009)
