When I was creating this work in Iceland, my beloved parrot passed away, yet that night it came to me in a dream. Much like the soul-like quality I had always faintly sensed in this piece, it is not about any known form of existence; rather, it points toward a kind of unknown we cannot put into words, and toward that subtle attunement between spirit and feeling.
As part of the current state of research on the Crystalline Layer, species and their connections to the environment speak among reverie through the luminous aura of imagination.
当我在冰岛创作这件作品的时候，我心爱的鹦鹉去世了，但是它在那一晚的梦中向我飞来。就像我一直隐隐觉察的这件作品所具有的灵魂特质，它不在于已知的某种存在物，它指向着我们无法道明的未知，和灵与感受间的这份感应。
作为对结晶层研究的部分现状，物种及其和环境的联系，借由想象的光晕范围，在遐想者之间言说。
