I enjoy wandering among the mountains and rivers crafted by time, reading the subtle clues and traces left by living beings and the environments. And try to manifest what they are telling me through creation - those written in the mother tongue of the Earth, connecting ancient environments and potential futures, vague and captivating memories and stories.
Under these precious encounters and opportunities, I often imagine: What traces will we leave, when we enter the geological layer known as the Anthropocene? When future lives peek into the past, will they be able to see the gentle entanglements that once existed between the former species?
Following the attraction of evolutionary facts and spiritual intuition, I perceive and respond to the beings that intersect with me. Through gazing, listening, touching, and depicting, I attempt to reveal the entanglement between organisms and environment, and the vitality which stretches among substances. Therefore, creation becomes a form of singing, bringing me back to a childlike state. In the landscapes that unfolded between frolic, narrating a ballad where life converges and continues to extend through these crystals. It allows me to point lightly towards that profound, just as the ephemeral life constructs the eternity.
The birth of each work is as if the discovery of a new species. A series of mixed media, such as sculpture, video, photography, paper, sound, become sensory evidences of these discoveries. I hope that as we - me and you, as well as the broader existence - traverse the realms of between water and rock, land and air, reality and dream, we may come to more attentively appreciate this balance of mutual integration and transformation. To experience, to feel that encounter, with the wonders and wisdom of the universe, with unintentional yet tacitly understanding.
